124
Seahawks' Alexander out indefinitely with foot fracture By John Clayton ESPN.com The Seahawks lost reigning MVP Shaun Alexander indefinitely after X-rays revealed a small crack in a foot. Alexander missed two days of practice last week because of a foot injury believed to be caused in a tackle in the Arizona Cardinals game in Week 2. Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren, who announced the injury Monday, wasn't sure which part of Sunday's game against the Giants that Alexander suffered further injury to the foot. Holmgren isn't sure how long Alexander will be out but it's possible he could miss a month. Holmgren said Alexander's injury is a non-displaced fracture of the foot. Maurice Morris will be the starter in Alexander's absence. The Seahawks have a bye week following Sunday's game against the Bears. Alexander rushed for 47 yards and a touchdown in Seattle's 42-30 victory over the New York Giants.

faba
The only good thing out of this for the Seahawks is that it is happening early in the season. I was questioning though why Holmgren kept playing him with a big lead yesterday though.
serphnx
Madden curse strikes again. Seriously. If I'm a star NFL player, I refuse to grace the cover of that game.

The Troll
NOW is the time to trade for Shaun Alexander. His value will never be lower than this. If you can afford to give up an OK running back and a decent receiver, Alexander should be had.
KSJets
I have Warrick Dunn and Rudi Johnson so I'll be fine
Jetheelz
I have Larry Johnson on one of my teams, but at this point I think Alexander with the bad foot would get me more results than LJ under Hermy.

Sorry, man, but you currently have no leverage. Your choices are 1.)wasting a valuable roster spot during bye weeks on a RB with a broken foot, or 2.)trading a top 3 pick for far less than his original value.
