I tried to be as objective as i could when I reported on tc, and I really thought he was doing well enough to make the team. I thought the blocked punt and return for a TD vs the Iggles would have cemented his spot, but it didnt work out that way. Da Bears now have Devin Hester and D Mc playing on their ST. Good on them. I thought his being cut was a surprise and well (and no one would call me a fan of the U). He's a better special teamer than Myers who the Jets kept instead (in my opinion) and probably better than Spencer who the Jets picked up to replace Myers on Specials. I assume (not trying to start anything) that he didnt fit the Mangini player profile in someway or that because in all honesty he seemed pretty hopless on Defense that he wasnt as good a fit.
