timbok
QB: Joe Nameth vs. Chad Pennington: Nameth wins out here,Nameth had the ability to throw bombs,or dump it off short, while Pennington is a shortster. RB:SNell and Boozer vs. Houston and Washington:Snell and Boozer are almost equal to Washington and Houston, but Washington has more speed=Washington and Houston. WR: Maynard vs. Coles: Maynard had a better QB,but Coles has more talent. Defense:There AFL vs. our can't stop the run but can kill u otherwise defense. 1968 Defense. Kicker: Jim Turner who set the then record for field goals,or Nugent who's a riseing kicking star. I would sign both,Turner for Extra points(he did not miss one that year) and Nugent for field goals(he rocks the field). Coach: Weeb Ebwank or Eric(baby face)Mangini. As much as Mangini does good he would be the assistint coach in that day. Winner is:it's a tie there both DAMN good

SoFlaJets
History repeating itself? 68-69-Jets V Colts -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 06-07 Jets v Pats.... Weeb was a coach at Baltimore and was fired-he took over the Jets.Don Shula was THE guy at the time-just like Belichick. There were a lot of Jets who also played for and were let of by Shula's Colts-just like how we have ex-Pats here... our defensive captain Johnny Sample started for the 59 World Championship Colts. Shula cut Winston Hill in his rookie year. Our free Safety Bill Baird was also a Colts cut cast-off. Mark Smolinski was a Hb who was also cut by Shula and picked up by Weeb Bake Turner WR? cut by Shula signed by weeb Curley Johnson-cut by Colts-signed by Jets Al Atkinson-drafted by Colts-signed on with the Jets

Winner is:it's a tie there both DAMN good In Todays game Namath would be the single most feared QB in these playoffs Snell was much better than any running back we have right now it isn't even close. Sauer and Maynard were both better than Coles. Pete Lamons was head and shoulders better than Baker The D line of the 68 Jets was the best D line we ever had, it was loaded Th OL on the 68 Jets was the single best OL this team ever had it was loaded You are out of your mind if you think these teams were equal
