JonEJet
How does Brian Cashman allow this guy to make it to the Sawx?? WE have rehab'd guys in the past, and it payed off (Lieber) and some who haven't panned (Dotel) But to let the Sawx get this guy for a couple of Entenmans Rasberry Swirl Cakes is infuriating!!!! Colon is the perfect high reward guy, and is now paying HUGE dividends for the Sawx
Bob
I think we all thought Colon was done. Good gamble by the Sox.
Jade Green
Are you kidding me??? This is the least of what cashman has let land in boston. How about becket, lowel and ortiz? cash has basically moved the Yankees aside and handed the reigns over to the bo sox. I have not liked 1 Yankees move since and including the Giambi deal. Don't even get me started on pitchers.
CrazyCarl40
I think we all thought Colon was done. Good gamble by the Sox. It was, but then again he had a couple of good starts for the Angels then imploded. I have to see him start and be healthy for at least a month or two before I start rushing to judgement. It does give the Sox flexibility to have Buchholz stay in AAA as long as he needs and for Schilling not feel like he has to rush back.

The Troll
Let's wait until he shuts down a major league offense before we give the fat bastard another Cy Young.

Bob
Come on man. Blame it on Girardi. Hmmm. Maybe he gave Cashman bad advice?
Maxman
Hmmm. Maybe he gave Cashman bad advice? Yes. I am pretty sure Cashman wanted to make the move. But Girardi said -- "Brian, I was a catcher trust me. We are all set with pitching". Then Brian immediately went back to figure out why he is paying Bobby Abreu so much money.
