JMJ
Yup. It has nothing to do with the fact that the guy was born into football, has been around the NFL his entire life even as a kid, and has been WILDLY successful as both a positions' coach and a coordinator throughout his career. It clearly has everything to do with this.

gangreenman
Listening to Beningo & Roberts. When asked about Vernon Gholston Ryan said he thought he had potential while Spagnuolo didn't know who he was. Doubt thats the reason why Ryan got the job, but maybe one of the reasons Spagnuolo didn't. Think about it. You're at an interview to become Head Coach of a team. You are trying to impress management and tell them why you would be a good fit and how you will prepare for games and handle the media etc. Yet when asked about the potential of the team's 1st round selection (#6 overall, no less) from a year ago, and don't even know who that is, what does that say about how much he really cares about the job?? That would be like interviewing to become a professor or teacher and not knowing what a blackboard or overhead projector is. Come on.
