Sanchez is NOT a top 10 pick. Not saying he won't be drafted there because of the slim pickins available but he is one kid who needed to stay in school one more year.

Sanchez isn't a Top 50 pick but a team will reach.

Its true. He was smart to come out this year because if he had come out next year with Colt McCoy, Sam Bradford & others he wouldn't have been selected until at the earliest the back end of the second round. Coming out this year all he has to sit behind is Matthew Stafford as people are going to take the raw USC product over the raw Kansas State and Ball State products.

Your going to see how good of a player Sanchez turns out to be in the NFL.

Moreover, this may be the last season of exorbitant rookie contracts.

Sanchez will cash in if some team panics and he goes top 10.

You're extremely agenda oriented with a lot of these articles you post; you almost are reminding me of FavoriteToon of last year :shutit: No matter what year you are in, you're gonna be able to find someone to disagree with the general consensus. There were plenty of people who are deadset against Adrian Peterson being a top 10 pick; they looked pretty stupid when he dropped and dominated, and is continuing to dominate.

The bottom line is, most teams view Stafford and Sanchez as top ten picks, it doesn't matter if in a different year they wouldn't be viewed as one, because it's this year and not that one.

Also, this article loses all...and i mean all credibility when he says that Stafford stunk in 2008.

He improved every year he was playing and compiled a pretty respectable year in the SEC. He threw for 3459 yards, completing 62% of his passes while throwing for 25 tds and 10 interceptions. This is all in an SEC with very good defenses and behind an offensive line that started a couple freshman and sophmores.

And failed in the big games this year against Bama, Tennessee and Florida?? Did they do any research or just say oh his stats weren't great.

Alabama - Let's preface this by saying they were playing against one of the most dominate defenses in the entire college football, with one of the best rush defenses and oh Knowshon Moreno was only allowed 34 yards on 9 carries. So Stafford was forced to throw the ball 42 times, the most the entire year.

However, he threw for 274 yards, 2 tds and 1 int. Only completed 57% of his passes, but when the other team knows you're throwing every down, it becomes a bit more difficult. Alabama also dominated Georgias Oline, if you watched it you'd know how difficult it was for Stafford to get any time to do anything. It's the reason that Moreno ran for the lowest yardage all season; almost half the amount of the second lowest.

Yes, they lost, but to a Bama team that shoud have been in the national championship game. He kept em in the game at 41-30.

Tennesse - They won this game 26-14, he threw for 310 yards and completed 70% of his passes. I dare whoever wrote this article to say Stafford played poorly, when he threw that one td with a few seconds left in the 3rd quarter to basically put the game away.

He threw for a td and 2 ints, but he played a good game here. They won the game, he completed 70% of his passes and beat a tennessee team that handed them one of their worst losses of the prior year.

Florida - Stafford played aweful, as well as the entire team. Moreno had 65 yards on 17 carries and coughed the ball up once. Doesn't excuse Stafford throwing 3 ints, but the entire team was overmatched, as Tebow and Florida were making their way to the National Championship.

Just as an FYI...Stafford bounced back by leading his team to a 3-1 record in his following games; with wins over Kentucky, Auburn and in the bowl game against Mich. State. They lost the game against georgia tech, 45-42, but Stafford threw for 407 yards, compelted 62% of his passes with 5 tds and 1 int.

The final 4 games of the season, following the florida loss, Stafford threw for an average of 312 yards, 13 total tds and 2 ints, while completed an average of 63% of his passes.

I would like you to tell me, or anyone else for that matter, what about him shows poor leadership?? Or plays poorly in big games?? or poor decision making? If anyone watched how **** poor his Oline was, than they would be impressed with anything he did.
