InstantClassic
Since I can't bump by Braves thread anymore: 7 IP 5 H 3 ER 11 SO W (5-0 3.00 ERA) Young Ace.
Vicious89x
He's got SUCH a weird throwing motion. Kid seems like he's the goods so far though.
MagicBizkit87
I got to say this IC. I was 100% wrong about this guy. He's an ace of not only the future, but right now. Amazing young pitcher. He even got in trouble once, and got out of it pretty good, he could have totally imploded, and he kept his team in the game.

Yeah..he has a "snapping" motion when the ball leaves his hand. I noticed that as well.

If he can limit his BB's he will be the complete package. Hanson and Jurjens should privide a nice, young 1,2 punch for years to come.

InstantClassic
You guys need to stop with the injury ****. That means nothing. Every team has injuries. You have to be built to deal with it. Post of the century. Tired of fans of all sports blaming injury and using it as an excuse. WTF are back up players for? In order to provide a team the opportunity to not skip a beat if someone goes down. Some teams are built due to a well run organization, good GM or both. Some are not. Blame Omar. Just look at the yanks this year. They have to be the second worst injured teams this year. Nady out for the year,A-rod missed significant time. Starting and back-up catchers missed time. bruny out, Wang out. Not as bad as the mets... but still. You have to be able to deal with it.

And dont have the depth behind their stars. So losing their stars has impacted them greatly.

Bruney? Yeah.. they're in the same class as a Delgado, Reyes, Beltran, Putz, Maine... Yankees are able to better withstand injuries. Mets are built like sh!t. So they would be impacted more than the Yankees.
InstantClassic
I have. Whats Atlanta's excuse for mediocrity? Anemic offense. This team will put up 11 runs in one game and get shutout the next. It's a shame..pitchers like Vasquez, Lowe, and Jurjens are hovering around .500 with outstanding ERA's. Doesnt matter... both teams will be playing golf come october while the phillies win by default.

Starting right fielder and set-up man? Yeah... no problems there. We have swisher batting .240 instead of nady. Hughes is taking bruny's spot so we basically have no 5th starter. Yunel Escobar and Prado have been red hot lately and have helped spark the lineup with McCann and Chipper. GA is hitting well recently as well, and Atlanta has strung some wins together but the damn Phillies won't lose a game. Speak for yourself, holmes. The Braves have an excellent opportunity to challenge for the division or the WC.
