AFJF
"Since I'm 5 years old, I've played the game, love the game," Schilling said. "I've never seen anything like this. ... Never. Nothing close. ... Not at that age, that polished. If he comes up to the big leagues -- which he will, in the next, probably, month, some period of time before the halfway point of the season -- he'll immediately, potentially be the best pitcher in the game. He's that polished.
shawn306
The kid had 6 no-hit innings last night in his second Triple-A start. He will be with the Nats before the All-Star game

JohnnyHector
It'll be interesting to see what they do with him. I'm sure they want to hold off starting his arby clock as long as possible. He'll be up as soon as he's safely past the cutoff date for qualifying as a Super Two... it's not a set date, as it is calculated as being the top 17% of players who have yet to reach 3 full years of Major League service. The Giants learned the hard way to play it safe, as they called up Lincecum a week earlier than where the Super Two cutoff ended up and they are now paying him $9m this year instead of $700k. Jbro22
Wouldn't he already be up if it wasn't for arbitration? Edit: didn't see CrazyCarl already touched on this.
LionelRichie
You will probably see him make his debut on 6/4 or 6/6 at home vs Cincy. the only other scenario i see is letting him debut in his hometown @ SD on 5/30. If he dominates in the majors the Nats have a real shot at the wild-card this year.
