Thanks alot packers, you spineless worms!

Hey Packers, your defeat has brought shame to all of Jets nation. Your ineptness and choking in the face of adversity shall be known throughout Jets nation. Your false promises of helping the Jets will be an object of ridicule and scorn throughout all of Jets Nation. Shame and humiliation will follow your legacy forever. Once adorned and worshiped by Jets fans (well at least for this week), your inability to help out the New York Jets AFC East Title Hopes will serve as a reminder of the price of failure.

Oh, the horrible pain of defeat. You should be ashamed. Game over. Jets AFC East Title Hopes almost over. Packers suck.

No, you're wrong. If we win out and the Pats lose out, we take the division. If we end up tied, its a possibility we win the tiebreaker under certain circumstances, and win the division. New England winning this game all but seals the division.

Sorry dude but you are wrong. stoicsentry had it right. This game meant nothing. Win or lose, the Patriots would still need to lose our last two. The only way you guys pass us is if we lose to the Bills and Dolphins thereby giving you the tie-breaker on division record. This game had no playoff implications for us. We could have lost and been in exactly the same position we are now that we won. Either way we needed to win one of our final two games to clinch the division and homefield.

Well there goes the division.

Actually, it didn't change our scenarios at ALL.

If the Jets/Pats are tied, and tied within the division, the Jets lose due to "Strength of Victory". This meant, win or lose tonight, the Pats had to lose out for us to win the division (then we would have been 12-4, then 11-5).

We need the Pats to lose 2 division games for us to have a chance, because of their edge for "Strength of Victory". Therefore, we still need the same thing. It's not going to happen, but right now, if we both finish 12-4, we take the division.

Which is why the loss to Miami kind of killed our division chances realistically.
