Mike & Mike yesterday

It's no secret. I love Greenie. Here's what he said yesterday to KC fans regarding Herm. A dead-on assessment:

Basically, Monday through Saturday, you're going to love him (nothing new here). Great motivator, great man, gentleman, great sound bites, won't put up with off-the-field antics (see John Abraham's driving record), his players will crash through a brick wall for him, etc., etc. But on Sundays, there are four things that KC fans will have to get used to with Herm as their coach:

1) 2nd and 10 equals a running play, usually a draw play

2) 3rd and 8 equals a 6 yard pass

3) A punt is a positive possession

4) The final 4 minutes of any game, even if you're winning, is catastrophic.

Sad, but true. But hey, that's somebody elses problem now!

Those KC fans who are so sure they got the ticket to paradise better learn to not bend over for the soap....mediocrity or worse is coming and Hermy will be there to drive them home.

Dead on.

We have seen this through 5 seasons, through multiple offensive coordinators, and through numerous players. The script remains the same.

Guess Priest Holmas will be invited back, to be an "inspirational leader", ala Curtis. So Larry Johnson will be like Lamont, and find an opportunity elsewhere. (just kidding......sort of).

What is with this "Herm is great Monday to Friday" talk??

He doesnt install gameplans and he is never 1 to fool an opponent with the injured list.

He is an idiot all 7 days of the week, moreso on Sunday when it all boils and explodes because Monday to Friday he didnt do a damn thing.

The Raiders, Chargers, and Broncos have all already improved on their win/loss records in '06.
