Am I a bad person?

I have never claimed to be an angel, and there is a good chance when I goto heaven St. Peter will be waiting at the pearly gates with a rather long list of things I've done wrong. But this latest thought I had may be way beyond just being a bad apple I think I may be a bad Jets fan.

Now I'm not one of these guys who loves to hate our team, thats not my style. I'm a die hard fan but I am not a rah rah homer who loves all things Jets.

I hated hackett more than anyone in the world(even more than Joe Theisman for his lack of intelligent comments during sunday night football) but I never wished anything bad to happen to him.

Today I told my friend I actually hope that JA gets injured this year because to be honest I don't think I'll be able to stand to watch him have a good season. I always have thought it's wrong to wish any injuries on any player after all this is their livelyhood and their occupation. JA is just the biggest loser ever though and here is my list of why.

1- He changed his number to 56 because he thinks he is Lawrence Taylor who he doesn't even compare to.

2- He has no heart. I don't think he has ever played in the playoffs and I don't think he ever had an injury considered to be serious during that time.

3- He held out until like a week ago. You have a contract beef thats your right to hold out. But look at everyone else in the league who held out they all showed up with at least enough time to get ready for the regular season.

4- He racks up sacks in meaningless games against the worst pass blocking teams in the league. I never see the guy having a monster game against any of the best tackles in the game.

5- He really thinks he is the best DE in the NFL when there are 5-10 guys I would consider just as good or better

The list could go on and on but I will spare you all. Does anybody else out there just sorta hope that JA goes down tommorow so you can just have a laugh and say I told you so you selfish basturd

Wow. Had never thought about wishing an injury on him.

The way I look at it is like this...I hope he has a monster year and proves us all wrong. I would be happy having been wrong about him and having the Jets have a great season instead.

and after the huge year are you prepared to give him a huge contract making more money than any other DE in the league? See I jsut don't see him in the long term plans for this team either way. Just because he plays one full season now doesn't even make me feel comfortable. I thought last year was amazing that he was healthy for soo long and then he let me down again. To me personally he just doesn't fit the mold of a guy I would want to call a teammate.

Growing up playing football and living for the game the thing my coaches always told me that meant the most to me was that you go out there and play your best not for yourself or the coaches or anybody else you play for the guy right next to you you play for your teammates and they play for you, and when everyone buys into it you realize you can all accomplish more as a team than as individuals.

JA only plays for himself and his paycheck I can't support having players like that on the Jets.

He might be a selfish,spoiled,self centered a$$hole...but he's our selfish,spoiled ,self centered a$$hole.

An injury wouldn't help us...it would hurt us.

I want him healthy.

personally i think your an butthole for that... also i demand you change your avatar because the dude would never.

fact- his number change had nothing to do with LT.

fact- there is no such thing as a meaningless game in the NFL

fact- he held out because its a business and he was looking for the nice 15-20 mill deal (and im sure it was mostly his agents doing)

fact- hes the most important player to the Jets D

fact- he had an LCL sprain and was diagnosed to miss 6-8 weeks and yes he tried to come back early

If he has a huge year the Jets can:

1. Sign him

2. Trade him for a draft pick

3. Franchise him

It is just in the Jets best interest for him to do well. Now if the Jets were out of the playoff hunt I wouldn't be upset if he didn't do well and cost himself money.

He is selfish. I am not arguing that!

Fact- an LCL sprain is not an injury that could threaten your career

Fact- if hes the most important player to the Jets I hope we dont need to count on him for the playoffs

Fact- blame his hold out on his agent all you want at the end of the day he hired that agent and he can do whatever he wants hes a big boy, I said I understand this is a business and he has the right to do that but he also can end his hold out in time to actually be ready for the season opener.

Fact- When 6 of your sacks come against Miami last year you werent exactly dominating the NFL you were dominating a team of pop warner all-stars

Fact- I may be a butthole but im not an butthole

Fact- The Dude abbides

I was about to call you an a$$hole, but then I got certain information, all right? Certain things have come to light, man. And I don't think you're an a$$hole, you're just stupid for wanting the Jets' biggest playmaker on defense to get hurt.

Fact- Playing with an LCL sprain could turn into a tear that requires surgury and could be very career threatining.

Fact- Miami is almost always a tought game if you remember the first miami game came down to the wire... In fact i believe Abe sealed the game with a sack forced fumble. (no playoffs with out that win)

Fact- its an agents job to get his client money and agents often fill their clients head with delusions of grandeur. all off season im sure his agent was saying dont sign that hold out and ill get you about 20 mill guaranteed

Fact- John Abe is a great great football player. with he and Ellis together they make about the best DE tandom in the NFL

Think of Abraham as a necessary and unavoidable evil. We have to take and hold down his bad medicine in order to generate a good pass rush. And hopefully come next season he's elsewhere.

He is a heartless and gutless bastard. Him knocking his critics is a total joke. It's like he didn't even get out of his car at Hofstra before, rather than focusing on his job, he wants to yap about all the criticism he got, especially from Rod Woodson. Rod Woodson broke his a$$ his whole career to get on the field; he's more than earned the right to call Abraham the dog he has been. If Abraham wants to shut him up, become a solid fulltime run and pass DE and play 16 games and deep into the playoffs. Then we'll all have no choice but to quiet the criticism.

But we all know all he'll ever be is a very good but fragile situational pass rusher. He doesn't do offseason programs; he still parties; he's done nothing to improve his technique; and he missed another camp to work on those things out of stupidity.

fact- he held out because its a business and he was looking for the nice 15-20 mill deal (and im sure it was mostly his agents doing)
