stoicsentry
Rex Ryan is now clearly one of the luckiest coaches in the league, with a combined 20-10 record as head coach of the New York Jets (includes playoffs). Mark Sanchez is now clearly the luckiest quarterback in the league, with opponents allowing him to go from a mere 12 touchdowns and a total of 20 interceptions in 15 games last year to this tremendous turnaround: 16 touchdowns and just 8 interceptions in 11 games in 2010. Sanchez is on pace for 23 touchdowns (+11) and 12 interceptions (-8). He had 8 fumbles in 15 games last year, but so far his luck has kept that total down to just 1. s dubb
The Jets are a decent team with a great defense. We'll be in every game we play regardless of how bad our offense or Q.B plays. This year is a product of us being able to win the close ones where last year we didn't. The 9-2 doesn't feel like 9-2 thats for sure.

Of course that could change next week. I don’t think so though

This is a field position team and all 3 units usually do their jobs in that area. That has holes on itself because it's very conservative, but really alot of that is on the HC/QB relationship. The deep ball makes up for alot of this. This week's deep ball happened to be a punt.

I think the INT count is bogus too. I know two of them (and maybe remember a 3rd) where a Jets receiver had the ball ripped out if his hands following a completion. How that isn't ruled a fumble is beyond me. The QB hit his guy for a catch and it goes down as an INT?
