StraightCash
He'd probably have been better in the 1st half of the year if sanchez didn't blow.
whodeawhodat
Meh. I am all for Greene hitting his stride in December and January. I know Rex wants that as well. This season is coming together like butt cheeks!!!
redman81
I think alot of the early season poor running should be more attributed to the OL and their issues. They are playing better now and opening more holes for the RBs. It's hard to have a ton of success running with no holes and only getting the rock like 13 times a game. Don't know the stats, but Greene's numbers have to be pretty damn good when he gets it 20x or so.
stoicsentry
I would like to compliment him. I'll certainly give him props for playing hurt, but he's really disappointed me this season. Granted there have been o-line issues, but he hasn't played inspiring ball for most of the season. I'm confused about him because I thought he should be a starter, not a finisher. He's a bruiser, after all... so you run him for 2 and a half quarters and then you put a little back like McKnight or Tomlinson in there to run circles around the defense. Instead, for whatever reason, he's better as a finisher.
ylekram
Its nice to see Greene catching the football and running hard . Im sure he suffered from our O-line woes at the beginning of the season as well +1.seems like when the oline got their stuff together,so did greene and sanchez.i like the way greene has been playing, and i hope i dont jinx him,but he just doesnt seem likely to stay healthy for this years run.he is always getting off the ground really slow
lancemehl
Haven't seen any thing on SG. Been a lot of hate and disappointment showered on this guy all year long, but now he's starting to emerge as the 2nd half back he's been the last two seasons. A healthy LaDainian Tomlinson (read: professional touchdown scorer) and progressively healthier ribs look like they are making a colossal difference for SG in the 2nd half of the season. He's starting to run with more purpose, hitting holes harder and more defiantly than he did in the first half of the year. He's ******* finishing defenders at the end of runs. And best of all, the kid can catch the ball now!!! Very happy with SG right now. We will need him and LT to go hog wild over the Eagles and Giants in the next two games. No doubt. Even though the numbers arent all-fantasy, in real life he's been running dwnhill for a while now. He's turning into a bruiser. That powerful running back I always wanted (and the closest I ever came was Johnny Johnson) Yeah much love here.
sirlancemehlot
Freeman McNeil was always dragging himself around after a run. He stumbled, he limped, he stretched and he winced--it was all an act. He'd take the next play and pick up 20 yards faking three guys out of their shoes. GimmeShelter
He's having a much better season than given credit for here considering how bad the OL was early. He's one big game away from having I,000 yards through 14 games which back in the day was considered a good year. His biggest issue is that when there are big holes, he leaves a lot of yards on the field by stumbling through the opening at times. While the competition has been weak, I heard today that the offense is tied with NE, NO, GB for most points scored the last three weeks.

It seems he's just one of those backs that doesn't get going until later in the year when the weather starts turning.
