What coach is going to sign up for that after melo 2 members of the coach's fraternity? As to his upset tummy, we know he didn't get a tummy ache by exercising and the tummy was full as always. Pick and roles on one side of the court and Melo's lazy a$$ on the other waiting to go one on one. Its great to see D'Antoni gone but this team is ****ed. Melo and Stat are worthless and this team will never improve with those lazy ****s on the court. Trade these ****ers or nothing changes. Feel bad for the next HC. Maybe Phil could make something happen but who else? You going to go get Calapari? Billy D? lol. Good luck trying to convince those guys with cush jobs to come try and coach those 2 dumb ****s. I dont see Sloan as a fit either. Pick and roll somewhat dirty ball defensively. Not sure how it would fit with the parts they have. Sloan coulndt connect with Williams which led to his losing the job in Utah. Unless Amare is totally shot the Knicks have talent to win. I dont think you need a special coach to make it work. You just need a guy that isnt going to force a system on the team. Im not a big fan of Steven A. Smith, but he had it right that there is a problem when you have a guy like Melo and you are running an offense designed to get a PG just as many if not more shots than Anthony. All you need is a flexible coach. Someone that utilizes the guys strengths and actually posts Anthony from time to time and lets him isolate from areas besides the wing. It pretty clear Dantoni never wanted Melo and never really tried to make it work. When Anthony didnt buy in after he was out and they went on that streak it was over.
