JetNation
The Jets made a roster move today as they released OT/OG Stephen Heyer. A 21 game starter for the Washington Redskins in 2009 and 2010, Heyer played with the Oakland Raiders last season appearing in 12 games, starting two. Heyer was the most experienced back-up offensive linemen on the Jets roster but it looks like they will keep Austin Howard, Vladimir Ducasse and Caleb Schlauderaff as reserves. GREENBEAN
This blows my mind. I can't even imagine how badly he must have been performing to lose out to the group he just did. I seriously have no idea why they would do this at this point.

Integrity28
Holmes and Plaxico act up. Mason gets cut. Hunter and Ducasse sucks. Heyer gets cut. Sacrificial lamb to make the fans think they are actively examining how to improve the position.
bitonti
fwiw Robert T Griffin was the 2nd team RT in preseason action. He might have a future there (certainly has the size for it). still very raw. Austin Howard might be the best hope for spelling Hunter this year .
