Blackout
doesn't he still lead the league in tackles and un-assisted tackles?

Alk
Don't get discouraged Jets fans. There are alot of good young safeties in the AFC right now. He just got lost in mix.

faba
With Vilma I guess you Pat fans really are trying to goad us Jet fans into pettiness He is the one player on the Jets that deserved it if any-if everyone had his energy and aggressiveness we would not be ranked 28th or so against the run
Barton
The Jets D is 28th vs the run because the offense cant put any points on the board (up until the past 2 weeks). The Jets defense gives up the same number of YPC from opposing backs, as the broncos top 5 rush defense gives up. The difference is the Jets have no offense, and the Broncos have a very good offense. Vilma was snubbed. I hope Zach Thomas tweaks his hamstring a couple days before the probowl, so Vilma can take his place.

A tackle isn't nearly as impressive when you jump on the pile after someone else that is actually big enough has already drug the player to the ground. Vilma will play in several pro bowls before his career is over, I believe.
Jetsfan80
If anything, we should be glad he didn't make it. This only means he won't be able to demand as much when contract negotiations roll around.
