Jetsfan80
The top 2 MVP candidates face off. Peyton just received a rousing welcome from Colts fans; no surprise there but nice to see that they appreciate him a lot more than Jim Irsay did. Go Broncos. Jetsfan80
Sorry im still relishing the Jets win who cares about this game? I enjoy football. I, too, am relishing in the Jets victory in every other thread but this one.
BroadwayJoe12
I'm sure Irsay was just trying to add something extra to the game, but he definitely crossed a line in his comments: dude wouldn't even have Lucas Oil if it weren't for Peyton. Sure, everyone wants a few more rings, but to throw Peyton under the bus and then compare him to Brady, little bit of a low blow. I hope Peyton embarrasses him. Jetsfan80
Zero zip on Peyton's passes He's been putting up huge numbers despite that problem all year long. It's kind of mind-boggling. Still more zip than Pennington though.
Jetsfan80
Coming into this game, the Vegas odds on NFL MVP were the following: Peyton - 1:10 Luck - 30:1 Laying some coin on Luck sounds smart.

T0mShane
Zero zip on Peyton's passes Toward the end of Boomer Esiason's career, they used to say that he had a "four week arm," meaning that he'd be fine for a month, put up some numbers, then he's lose velocity as the season wore on. This is Peyton's life now. He's got a four-week arm.
