Is it to much to ask...

Even drafting 7 qbs for a year or two would not be over reacting, the "pick one and pray" method has been utter fail.

Oooorrrrr, how about we have some skilled management who recognizes talent and can position the team by drafting a future Aaron Rodgers, or a Drew Brees, or a Joe Flacco, or a Tony Romo, or a Russell Wilson, or a Geno ... oh wait, never mind that last one. Point is - we don't have to have the number 1 pick to find a great quarterback that will put up points and be productive, but we must have scouts and management with the ability to see that talent and nurture it.

Problem with taking one every year is you'll never give the guy you draft time to develop and learn the position at the pro level cause your always getting the next guy ready.

I agree to an extent, say Mariotta falls in our laps this year and Mac thinks he's worth the 6th pick take him.....then next year another excellent QB prospect falls to us you should take him regardless how MM performed the past year because at worst you have one to trade. But you can't just take one every year, you need to develop the rest of the team as well so when we do have our guy he has a chance to succeed and doesn't have to play with the crap Geno did with his rookie year.

Also, how often does a top tier QB prospect fall to us and we pass on the guy? First of all these guys don't fall out of the sky, second other teams need QBs too.....it's not like we're the only ones with a shot at one.
