Gas2No99 Posted September 28, 2015 Share Posted September 28, 2015 I HATE Michael Kay (LOVE THE DON!) They were interviewing Kay and he mentions Gladys Pip as a talisman. Kay then says Gladys is on the on the other line to say hello. You can hear Bowles voice slightly crack thinking they're pranking him. Low & Behold and you can HEAR how surprised and Happy the coach is. JMO, but its sounds like he was slightly tearful when he said THank You to Kay since apparently Gladys is Bowle's Taylor Swift. Pretty cool by Kay. She also mentioned that she got there late to the game, but 3 minutes later the Jets scored & shut them out for the rest of the game. He's an old school guy who likes music. That is probably the most amazing "job perk" he's had that directly speaks to his adolescence. its a bucket list item to have an idol/role model chatwith you and he realized it. If it were Frank Sinatra saying hello to Parcells in a parallel scenario (for hypothetical argument sake) it wouldn't be so weird. I'm happy for the guy.
