If Jets sign Cousins, do we keep all picks or trade down at #6 for bonanza of draft picks?

rosen could fall. he can't keep his mouth shut. The Jets would also pass on him in this scenario.

I don't buy this premise.  The Jets are talking about a fully guaranteed contract for a QB that's probably 10-15th best.  QBs are far too much at a premium for Rosen to fall far (unless he really effs up).  Even if a team doesn't want him they'll be offered a lot in a trade.

Cousins useless to us if we dont dramatically rebuild offLine w/3 new starters via both Free Agency and top draft picks (1st 3 rounds)

Cousins + a FA OG/C and drafting another OL and this team is an immediate contender in the AFCE.   Add a couple more offensive pieces and the team is good for the next 5 years.

The window for the Pats, Steelers, and Broncos is closing.   The Eagles dominated the playoffs and won the superbowl because their backup QB was never touched, they played aggressively on Offense, and their D could continuously hit the QB.   Unfortunately, the Jets do none of that well right now and need to focus their 100M on Qb, protecting the QB, and hitting the other teams QB.   Such a simple game when you think about it but somehow Maccagnan thinks tiny LB's and Safeties are the keys to success.
