Pick the O/U's for offensive players here!  I based the O/U's for the veteran players on past performance.  For instance, using his per game yardage totals, Darnold's yardage per 16 games is a little over 3,600.  4,000 would represent a significant uptick but not an outlandish number to go with.

For Mims, keep in mind that only 14 rookie receivers have achieved 1,000+ yards since the AFL-NFL merger.  850, thus, is a pretty good number to set as the O/U for a rookie like him that is expected to get solid playing time.

If you disagree strongly with these O/U's, make your case as well!

1. Sam Darnold: 4,000 passing yards...Over = 4400+ passing yards year.

2. Denzel Mims: 850 receiving yards...Over = 72 x 15.6 = 1123.

3. Breshad Perriman: 7.5 TDs...Under = 7 TDs...a good year for him though.

4. Chris Herndon: 5.5 TDs...Over = 8TDs...he's back!

5. Le'Veon Bell: 1,500 Yards from Scrimmage...Under = 1175 - 1225 Yards...just not the Bell cow anymore...gets less touches...Perine gets significant touches to compensate.  Gore gets some too.

6. Jamison Crowder: 89.5 Catches...Under = 87 Catches...catches spread around...especially to Mims and Herndon.

i can't see darnold throwing for 4000+.  imo he's not going to have more than 30 attempts per game and that translates to about 240 ypg.  herndon may get quite a few tds.  griffen had 5 or so and he didn't come on until late.  i think we're going to see the te's get involved in the passing game.  bell probably isn't going to get more than 20-25 touches per game.  he might get over 1500 yards.

He would join elite company in that case.  Only 5 receivers since 1970 have achieved 1,100+ yards in their rookie seasons:

Sounds about right.  I probably set his O/U too high at 7.5.  My thinking there was he caught 6 TDs last season despite only starting 4 games.  There's nothing stopping him from starting all 16 this year, or at bare minimum being a high volume WR3.

My Mims stats.  I look at his tape...and I just feel it...envision it!  The route running concerns are overblown.  IMO...he's a complete player.  A freaking steal.  Can my stats be wrong...sure!  But...Mims...really gonna surprise.

So...when it comes to Mims...I'm with thems...
