I like it!  Very tasteful.  She's very much that Hound Dog Taylor house rockin' style.  Maybe a little R.L. Burnside thrown it!  Bonomassa's a great guy from what I hear.  He was a child prodigy taught by Danny Gatton growing up.  You hear a lot of his playing in Bonomassa's sound.  When I was learning to play guitar (before I hurt my hand) I kept hearing about Danny Gatton and Roy Buchanan.  When they both lived around the Baltimore area.  They would have telephone "cutting sessons" where one would try to outplay the other.  Buchanan always sneak into his gigs so he could discover what he was playing without Danny knowing.  In disguise.  But Danny always saw him out of the corner of his eye!

Boom.  NJ, please tell your friend she fukkin' rocks.  Have not heard a new artist wail like that in quite a while.  I hear bits of Jimmy Page, Arlen Roth and Bonnie Raitt in her slide playing, which is a very good thing.   Nice growl in her vocals, too.  Sorta reminds me of Brittany Howard from Alabama Shakes.

Thanks bro - glad you like and appreciate it. Joanna is incredible and the recognition is a long time coming. Shes been a staple in the Chicago blues scene for awhile. I'll send you some links.

Just checked out some of her work on YouTube.    Very talented.  Incredible that Joe B. is producing her album.

Good to see you too bud!  It was all worth it though, now we gotta get the jets to do that before I drop dead lol
