Now, if you prefer a rival in your face everyday with 90% of his posts ragging on the Jets, more power to you. That's not me. Never was and never will be. I've heard that $55 can fix that problem... Tx has a right to defend himself at this point. Lets all remember what Max said a few months ago and there are a few guys who remember this distinctly. "I recruited the pats fans to this board so there will be controversey. I like controversey" Now I have gone thru the packet of the dos and dont's for this board especially the sections of what you can and can't say about the sacred cow and I find nothing that describes what he mean't by controversey. I particulary like the section where Tx has to say 20 times a day that Chad has a noodle arm. Its a real page turner. So in light of the vagueness of that remark I think that I am within my rights to say whatever I want because its controversial. I have said this one million times but let me state it again: If this site is causing anyone this much stress they should take a step back and re-evaluate things. Because this is a message board. We are not banning anyone over this drama. The people that have PMed me -- thanks for the thoughts. But I am not banning either side. I have been told that "I NEED TO" ban some Pats fans. I have been told that "I NEED TO" ban several Jets fans. Neither is going to happen. What does have to happen is the personal attacks have to stop. As of right now everyone has a clean slate. Exchange emails -- exchange PMs -- go to the chat room. Fight it out there. It is not my concern who started this. It is not my concern who is right and who is wrong. The amount of reported posts this week is just comical. JetNation was started as a place where we could talk sports and have fun. We left our old home because we were getting censored. We couldn't say what we wanted about the Jets without fear of it being deleted. That is not going to happen here. Good, bad or indifferent a message board is what it is. Many times it leads to smack talk. I am not going to suggest that anyone leave here but if you disagree with this I ask only that you respect it. You don't have to agree.
