Adam Caplan reports that Dillon has a visit planned for next week, and it's not to Buffalo. Corey Dillon has been a highly productive back over the ten seasons he's been in the league, but when the Patriots granted his request for release to find another team, the offers didn't exactly come pouring in. Dillon heard from the Buffalo Bills and the Philadelphia Eagles early on, but other teams took a wait-and-see approach. A planned visit to Buffalo was postponed indefinitely, while reports swirled that Dillon was considering retirement All that has changed. Dillon found a suitor who is serious about acquiring his services for the 2007 season -- the Tennessee Titans. Adam Caplan, senior NFL reporter for Scout.com, reports that Dillon will be making his first official visit of free agency next week to the Titans. Tennessee is in the market for another big back, and Dillon could be just the answer they need to build a solid ground game to take some pressure off their sophomore quarterback Vince Young. It will be Dillon's first official visit to any team. ShadowJet35
How so? You released him, taking a cap hit, because he said he's gonna retire, and now he's about to sign onto another team and most likely play against you guys.... That's grade A butt****ing. Garb
who cares.... ....here's some GREAT news (I can't beleive I missed it 'till today): March 29, 2007 Boston Globe Troy in plans Patriots coach Bill Belichick told NBCsports.com that receiver Troy Brown is in the team's plans for 2007. Brown is currently an unrestricted free agent. "I expect Troy to have a role with us this year as far as I'm concerned," Belichick told reporter Tom Curran. "He is part of the plan for next season." Bingo, baby! Everyone loves Troy.
CoachTsurfing
I'm not sure why the Pats would let him go, or at least try and talk him into staying. Dillion is as good as he use to be but he did well last year and with Malroney having a bum shoulder I would have tried to keep him.

That's grade A butt****ing. Do you know anything about the NFL? If he signs with the Titans good for him. BTW: The Pats don't play the Titans this year the Jets do. The Pats play a 1st place schedule so they play the Colts while the 2nd place Jets play the Titans.
124
Dillon had and has no interest in Buffalo but he did have interest in the Jets before Thomas Jones was aquired. Now it seems its down to Tennessee & Philadelphia for him, he'll probably end up in Tennessee.
