Parking lot MESS.

They warned everyone but were they prepared? I dont think so. I still saw tents and people taking up more than 1 space. A van parked next to us and started to use the middle space to set up camp. A lot attendant walked over and said 1 space only. A guy said what about them and pointed to a party with a tent taking up 4 spaces 25ft away. The attendant replied Im telling you.

Grown men were throwing footballs aimlessley purposely hitting vehicles and grills. The LITTER and empty beer bottles was a DISGRACE. Bring a garbage bag no reason for this.

People who had excessively too much to drink were plentiful.Do they remember anything about the game or being there the next day?

The parking space you are alloted is smaller than normal.Cars and fans are on top of one another. It looked like they figured out how to squeeze the most in they can for the $15 fee. Curbside parking is history tailgate space is small and confined.

If there gonna make rules ENFORCE them EFFECTIVELY not SELECTIVELY.

Im starting to think it may be time to stay home...................................................

Did you have a problem finding a space? Did you get told to condense your tailgate but others didn't? Did someone throw footballs at your grill? Not busting your balls, just wondering what your beef is personally.

As for taking up space, I trow a tailgate for at least 20 people, if the average is 3-4 people, my tailgate knocks out 5-6 other groups setting up their own thing, so I usually don't have much of a personal issue with taking up more then my space, but I did realize what was up this season so I tried not to take up much space. But then again, I did have an extra parking pass in my pocket so I did actually pay for two spaces. Overall though, it looked like anyone who had a pass was easily able to find a space, and I didn't see any people having problems with other people's setup, but maybe that was just my lot in the 16 area.

Just got wind of the Jets new PR campaign set to be released on Thursday:

Everytime you take up an extra parking spot, God kills a kitten.

I think this campaign will work. It will get people thinking and it PETA shows up that will definitely keep us all in line.

Coming up from VA and having to park in the sattelite lots was ridiculous! I paid $25 to park in Lyndhurst in a corporate lot, get on a school bus with no AC, and get shipped to the stadium.

It took us an hour after the game to even sniff a warm school bus, then get bused back to the lot and sit in traffic from everyone leaving those lots.

I felt like we were getting shipped into a camp, and someone escorting us into the "showers". Not to mention, a large majority of the people who are lined up after the game waiting on these buses are fans of the away team. They better beef up the cops at those things, cause there were almost a few large brawls. This situation will end badly and NEEDS to be fixed.

No not at all and none of the above.I had a great tailgate with family and friends.Did anyone notice the lack of portojohns? How about dumpsters to throw trash away? It wasnt the parking lot usual.People were forced to tailgate in a confined space. The LITTER was the WORST Ive seen in years. Many ran over broken beer bottles and debri. You are lieing if you say you didnt.

The atmosphere in the parking lot has changed. What used to be is no more.Lets hope it gets better.........that and the football played on the field.

Peace out GO JETS!

I've tried to teach my kids not to litter becaus I think it's important. He got a first hand view of how important it is yesterday walking around piles of other peoples garbage to get to our car.

He was flat out beside himself that someone would take a tray of food and just throw it on the ground. He was mad and wanted to leave them a note that said "don't litter"

I love that kid!

Did anyone happen to see the billowing SMOKE coming out of the charcoal dumpsters?

Ive been going for many years the LITTER I saw yesterday was the worst.

Yeah, maybe it was a little dirtier then normal, and I know even I am going to bring more garbage bags in the future, but I think with fewer people able to park and do their own thing it lead to bigger parties, so maybe instead of smaller amounts of trash scattered about, is was fewer bigger piles, whatever the case, i didn't think it was sooo much over the top from last year. Keep in mind it was the season opener/home opener/big rival. I have a feeling it will get much less crowded as the season goes on, especially after week 3 and MIA in town.

You had the same amount of people condensed into smaller spaces, the litter should have been expected.

'

And, there was litter in the parking lot already when I got there at 8am. I'm not so sure the place was all that clean to begin with.

Things are just getting out of control is what im saying. We all like to have a good time but know when to say when. I was parked in lot 13 I did not see 1 dumpster or any porto-johns.

After the game the LITTER was overwhelming.I wouldnt expect this from AMERICANS especially those who can afford to attend a football game.

WE all need to clean up our acts or be labeled NFLs biggest pigs!
