And how many of those yards were because he has the BEST run blocking O-Line in college football. I'm more impressed by Felix Jones than I ever have been by McFadden. Please stop comparing Darren McFadden to those guys. Bush is a East-West runner not North-South and he's in the freakin' second year of his career. Lendale White wasn't a top pick and the fact that he hasn't performed up to his expectations has nothing to do with his talent and a lot more to do with his work ethic and getting fat after college. Curtis Enis also was a big back and a lot of analysts predicted his not being able to carry the full load. You can't just compare their draft position and say they have the exact same type of talent. There are so many players that are supposed to revolotutionize their respecitive positions (vick) that never add up. Players that are supposed to be staples of the offensive line for a decade (pace, brick, gathers, williams), some work some don't. McFadden might be a great player, he might be average, and he might be a total bust. With the money that he will command, there is no way the New York Jets are in any position to sign him. He would be nice to have, but its like we are decorating a cake before we have any doe. We need so many positions right now, going after, yet another, high profile RB will not only bury this franchise financially, but it will bury DMC himself, because he will have no one blocking for him. Save the money that we would spend on him, make a splash with Faneca, or another top level guard that 124 sited. A succesful team, showing improvement get a #10 or a total embarrassing team, unable to compete, get a #1? Don't you see that the first choice can use the #10 to augment and help one needed spot while the second choice WILL NOT COMPETE NEXT YEAR. One player, nine spots away DOESN'T MAKE A TEAM.
