TaborJet
The Raiders, Falcons, and Chiefs, all of whom had a 4-12 record like the Jets, will be flipping a coin (three-sided coin?) to determine who selects 3rd, 4th, and 5th in the draft. This is based on strength of schedule. The Jets are not included in this since they had a tougher schedule....Translation: We played the 16-0 Pats twice and the other three teams did not. This undoubtedly put it over the top as to why we pick 6th this April. So in an indirect way, thanks New England for screwing us yet again. Arsis
I don't get how having a harder schedule makes it so we get a higher pick. Because we did the same against better teams or something stupid like that?

jack48
we also had phins at 1-15 to offset maybe we should have played ourselves!!!!!!!!!! even if we had lost both pat games 80-0, we would still be in the same boat, although we would obviously be the weaker team. no rule is perfect.
