Yes thats the plan the Giants put out,you get three payments ,not including your reg. season ticket bill either (1)20% of the total amout is due by Oct. 2008, (2nd installment is the next 40% of the due balence is due in Aug. of 2009 & the last 40 % that is left is due in Aug.2010 right before the new stadium opens. No one thinks they have 5 years Murph ,but that doesn`t mean we might beable to convince our Billionaire owners to try and work with us a little bit ,just think about what an incredible PR move it would be for the owners if they let the fans pay them $2,500 a year interest free on the balence of their bill if they owe $20,000 give them 8 years to pay it off ,$10,000 4 years to pay it off $5,000 2 years, you get it .All I am asking is to make it reasonable so us slowly disapearing middle class folks can afford to keep their tix. without choosing between your kids education or JET TIX. That is a pretty good post actually. They can win from a PR standpoint by just extending the years, giving Jets fans longer to pay it off than Giants fans.

Ever heard of something called the "Time value of money"? If they collect 60M a year using all those naming rights you talk about, for 30 years, sure, it's 1.8B. However, 60M in 2038 is far less than 60M now. So in other words, the 60M in 2038 will be more like 15M now.

I agree the absences of that feature greatly diminishes the value of there PSLs.

But it is not extortion. Nobody is forcing you to be a season ticket holder. I would love to own season tickets to the Patriots. I can't afford them. That doesn't make me less of fan or the Patriots management evil.

If you feel the PSLs are unfair, protest by not buying them. If every single Jets fan refused to buy PSLs they would go away. But we know that won't happen. Because for every person current season ticket holder who is unwilling to pay for a PSL there are several people who don't have tickets and want them that will, even with the missing PSL benefit of other events. With most items the person who is willing to pay the most gets the item, not the person who started shopping at that store the first.

That is how BOB KRAFT did it .He added $70 over a 2 year period to all ticket prices basicly that was his $70 per ticket PSL now instead of a 1 time fee this goes forever ,but lets look how this deal it worked out for everyone $70 X 10 games a year min. 8 reg. 2 pre. is a $700 a year PSL .Now my present PSL ticket price according toGiant Prices is going to be $5,000per seat X my 4 seats thats a 1 time fee (HOPEFULLY) over the 30 year lifespan of the new stadium of $20,000 lets look at what Kraft is getting for the same seats & time period A $70 PSL X 10 GAMES A YR. =$700 A YR. i dunno - the way people train, with the growth hormone and what not Farve could be here 2 or 3 years - it's not unthinkable - obviously when he's 50 his bones turn to dust (see Clemens, Roger) but the now will be fun.

Your math is big time flawed.

5K * 4 = 20K for the PSLs, that's right.

$70 per seat * 4 seats * 30 years * 10 games = 84K, not 21K.

So if you'd rather pay 84K over 20K, enjoy.

My math isn`t flawed thats exactly what it said =$21,000 per ticket X my 4 tickets = $84,000 ,would I rather pay it ,is not the point ,the point was is (A ) if you ask most Pats fans they will tell you that Kraft "NEVER" charged a PSL and they were ok with the raise in ticket prices & (B)if you asked the AVG. SEASON TICKET HOLDER here which of these 2 plans would give them a better chance of keeping their tickets ,I would bet most would say Krafts plan © Yes ticket prices will go up ,but once he put in that $70 PSL it`s there forever, each year or 2 that $5 & $10 increase is avg.
