Maxman
Anyone see this last night? The 3rd down play when Richardson was WIDE open to the left, Favre instead threw short to Thomas Jones. Steve Serby wrote about it. BRETT Favre dropped back to pass on third-and-1 near midfield. Fullback Tony Richardson sneaked out into the left flat wide open. And Favre never saw him. Favre instead threw short left for Thomas JonesThomas Jones , and got nothing. Now it was fourth-and-1, and Favre went for it. And he found Brad SmithBrad Smith deep right for 29 yards. Except an illegal shift penalty brought it back, and the JetsNew York Jets punted. For sure, the Messiah quarterback of the Jets (9-for-12, 96 yards) titillated Giants Stadium with some wondrous Namathian throws last night against the Giants. But with Chad Pennington and the Dolphins alarmingly two weeks away, this is the only way to sum up the current state of the Jets' offense: Favre from perfect. "You can't win making those type of mistakes and that's all of us," he said. I was shocked he couldn't see him. With Favre's arm they should put him in the mezzanine, the view of the field is pretty good from there.
war ensemble
Was that the throw where the only cornerback on the left moved off him before the snap? I saw an easy first down, at least, with that. I'm surprised he didn't give him a hot route or at least see him standing there wide open.
Irish Jet
Was that the play were Thomas Jones got the first, and then came back and lost it?

Green DNA
Obviously Favre has no vision and should retire immediately

gangreenman
Chad would have made that throw. Yeah but by the time the ball would've gotten there, there would've been 2 LB's waiting to take Richardson's head off before the marker.
