rick34125
Think of the fallout if Belichick wins without Brady, with Matt Cassel, a backup QB, who even the oddsters have no confidence in. Brady's career will be tarnished for sure. Brady will be branded as a system QB who benefited from Belichick's genius and the Patriots organization assemblying a talented team around him. On the other side of it, if Belichick loses then he won only because of Tom Brady, not because he's such a genius, and his career will be tarnished as well. If you're a Patriots fan who loves Tom Brady what a dilemma you will have rooting for your team every Sunday for the rest of this season. This story doesn't have legs yet in the media, but it will. First spygate and now this. It's good to be a patriots fan.
jetophile
Death comes in threes. Any Italian Catholic worshiping idols in the first place will tell you that. Oh, and Intercessors just collect money. Saint Someone, Jets for the win!
GodWearsAGrayHoodie
If the Patriots win the superbowl this year, it won't diminish Tom Brady's accomplishments. 51 TDs by Cassel and a 19-0 season would. But a solid 11-5 season plus a SB win with a mix of passing and rushing would do nothing, to suggest that Brady is not one of the all time greatest QBs. GodWearsAGrayHoodie
GOOD LUCK....BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA That is basically my point. Even if the Patriots have an outstanding season this year, the likelihood of Cassel reaching Brady's level of production is almost nil. So Brady has nothing to fear in way of success of the Patriots meaning Brady is a system QB.

Garb
New Report states that Brady tore his MCL and ACL. They will wait one month before surgery so the MCL can heal - they heal on their own. Recovery time is 9 months or less- barring complication. There was no other ligaments or any cartiledge damage. Brady was seen in the locker room today and appeared upbeat. Talking to, and viewing film with his teammates. Say what you want about they guy - but he's a terrific leader.

Larz
what happens this year will have no effect on Brady's reputation. We all saw with our own eyes how he dominated the NFL c'mon guys, they held mannings colts to 3 points the week they were bringing in DB's on Wednesday to play sunday this offense and team are still very dangerous
