Dude are you ****ing serious? Are you 12 years old? I can say that about any ****ing team in SPORTS. Not just the NBA. Please, just stop.

YOu make no ****ing sense at all. You are the Orlando Magic version of Blackout. End of story. Your not a true fan.

This Magic team is no way beating this Sixers on their court, so the series is basically over. Team is too god damn stupid to listen to their coach. I hope they enjoy being eliminated in the first round against this **** team.

This is exactly like 1995. Have a huge lead against the Rockets, about 25, or 30 or so points, they blow it and lose to a team they were obviously better than. So that just means expect the Sixers to sweep.

Again..I'll bring this post up again.

You really think they draft good? Your teams drafting is just as bad as Orlando's, infact probably worse.

Orlando had only one good draft class. The year they got Dwight, Jameer, and Varejao, who didn't last here long, and that's better then anything the Lakers have ever built since 2002 with their drafts.

The Detroit Pistons, now that's a team that knows how to find their talent. Even though they had a bad year this year.

I'm not even talking about Kobe being a rapist anymore. Everyone with any common sense knows the guy's a rapist.

I hate Kobe, but he did not rape that girl. If I remember correctly, they found 5 other guys semen in her.....she is/was trash and she was looking to get paid, and was successful.

ORLANDO -- Although he continues to stonewall specific questions about whether he intends to opt out of his contract this summer and become a free agent, Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant dropped his strongest hint of the season Saturday that he has no intention of leaving the only franchise he has ever played for.

On the eve of Game 5 in the NBA Finals, one win away from his first championship in seven years, Bryant was asked Saturday if he can imagine playing for anyone other than the Lakers next season.

"No" was Bryant's fast response, accompanied by one of his rare smiles in this series, as part of a media session that was by far his most relaxed and light-hearted in days.

It could all be his

lal.gif Kobe Bryant, who has two years left on the $136 million contract he signed in 2004, is on the verge of breaking some notable Lakers records, including points.

Record Rank How many he needs Games 948 2nd 145 Points 23,820 3rd 1,372 Steals 1,441 2nd 283 3-pt. FG 1,204 1st -- * FT 6,104 2nd 1,056 * Bryant has 454 more than 2nd-place Nick Van Exel.

Bryant has two seasons and nearly $48 million left on the $136 million contract he signed in the summer of 2004, after the Lakers lost in the Finals to Detroit and then traded Shaquille O'Neal to Miami. But the contract contains an early termination option that would allow him to return to free agency on July 1 and a subsequent player option that would allow him to become a free agent after the 2009-10 season if he passes this time.

Yet it's believed that if Bryant chooses to exercise that option in either of the next two offseasons, it would merely be a step to ensure that his next long-term contract is signed under the terms of the NBA's current collective bargaining agreement, amid a growing sense around the league that owners will succeed in reducing contract lengths and maximum salary levels after the current labor agreement expires during the 2010-11 season.

Unlike the summer of 2007, when Bryant issued multiple trade demands and was openly unhappy about the direction of the franchise until the February 2008 acquisition of Pau Gasol, his future has generated little media discussion this season. That's largely because the widely held assumption among rival general managers is that Bryant has no interest in playing anywhere else now that he is flanked by a big man of Gasol's caliber, with Andrew Bynum also still developing and Lamar Odom eager to re-sign with L.A. this summer when he becomes a free agent.

The leaguewide expectation some two years later is that Bryant will re-sign with L.A. no matter when he returns to the open market. Although he admittedly "deflected" multiple questions on the subject during Saturday's media session -- "I have no idea what you're talking about," Bryant jokingly said when reminded that he has the right to terminate his contract at season's end -- Bryant did add that his looming decision "won't be a topic" after the Finals.

"Won't be an issue," Bryant insisted.

[+] Enlargenba_g_bryant1_sw_200.jpgChris Graythen/Getty ImagesKobe Bryant says his focus is on winning his fourth title, but he's sending clear signals he intends to stay in L.A. past this season.

Back in February, when asked about his contract plans by ESPN.com's J.A. Adande, Bryant playfully said: "Don't even go there. No hablo ingles. I'm not going to help you out with that story."

Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak told ESPN.com at the time: "I've always believed that Kobe should and would end his career in a Laker uniform. I believe that to be his feeling as well."

If he declines to use either of his opt-out clauses, Bryant would be a free agent again in the summer of 2011 at age 32, when his current contract expires. The last time he was in that position, in '04, L.A. dealt O'Neal and parted company with coach Phil Jackson after Bryant seriously entertained the possibility of signing with the Los Angeles Clippers and also flirted with the Chicago Bulls.

On the cusp of what would be his fourth championship, Bryant was also asked Saturday whether he's consciously chasing Michael Jordan's six rings with the Bulls.

"I'm trying to get this damn fourth one," Bryant said. "I'm just really happy to be in this moment right now and just trying to get this fourth one."

Bryant and Jackson, who were reunited for the 2005-06 season, have lost in their past two trips to the Finals (2004 and 2008) after combining with O'Neal to lead L.A. to three successive championships from 2000 through 2002.

"I think this one is special because you rarely have the opportunity to get back up to the mountain twice in a career," Bryant said. "In other words, you have your first run and then you hit rock bottom, and then you've got to build back up and get back to the top again.

You were saying that your team drafted well, and it's far from it. The Lakers in fact have drafted horrible for the last 8 years. You obviously can't back up the words you said earlier, about the Lakers being such an amazing team at drafting. Just face it, the Lakers buy their talent, and the last real good player they drafted that was any good was Mr. Rapist, himself.

Dude, I've never had any problem with you as a poster and was one of the few who defended you over the "giving up" on your team, but you seriously need to quit with this BS. Kobe did not rape a girl. She willingly had sex with him and was known to brag about it shortly afterwards.

Luke Walton - 2003

Sasha Vujacic - 2004

Andrew Bynum - 2005

Ronny Turaif - 2005

Von Wafer - 2005

Jordan Farmer - 2006

Jarvis Crittenton - 2007

All of those players are in the Lakers rotation. Now if you want to talk about bad drafting..check your team.

Again, you have absolutely no idea on what you're talking about. I lose a lot of respect for you man.

Let it go, IJ. He can't say anything about the Lakers now, so he has to mention **** that happened years ago.

Just laugh at people like that.

I would also like to mention each player the Lakers drafted that are not on their roster also plays a key role for their team.

Ronny T for the Warriors.

Von Wafer was great off the bench.

Jarvis Crittenton is average.

We've done good recently, minus Fran Vazquez, who I have no clue where is right now. Coutney Lee has basically been the steal of last years draft. J.J. Redick should not have been picked where he was picked, but he's not awful, and he's just as good as someone like Vujacic, and Farmar. 2004, Dwight Howard, Jameer Nelson, and Anderson Varejao? Oh yeah, that was a horrible draft. 2003 and earlier wasn't pretty, but this organization has gotten better at it, and is far better then the Lakers at drafting. Seriously, you announce people like Farmar, Vujacic, and Walton like they're any good. Your team is built around 3 good players, (Bryant, Odom, and Gasol). The rest aren't very good, just overrated by the LA media.

Meanwhile, we've found Dwight Howard, and Jameer Nelson, and a nice young guard in Courtney Lee as well. That's 3 of our starters right there when were healthy. We also found Marcin Gortat, when the Suns gave up on him. Yup, you're right your team is so much better as drafting, and finding prospects... LOL

Are you kidding?

Dwight Howard - 2004

Jameer Nelson - 2004

Anderson Varajeo - 2004

Courtney Lee- 2008

You guys been terrible the last 5 years. Those are the only good players that the Magic drafted.

Again, I really don't consider you being a true Orlando Magic fan.

The Magic didn't draft Nelson.

The Nuggets did.

No, and if you'd open your eyes you'd see that practically everyone who doesn't hate the guy (Heck even some who do as Rillo proved in this thread) realises that the girl was after money. She was not ****ing raped.

I heard that the Magic are going to pay the luxury tax to bring the Turkey Man back for another couple more seasons. I guess that means that Marcin Gortat will most likely be on his way out.

Hey IC, what do you think of a trade like this? I heard the Knicks are trying to trade David Lee, and he may be the Power Forward we need for this team next year to help Dwight out at rebounding, after all Dwight, and David Lee were 1-2 in double-doubles this season.

Magic Get:

PF David Lee

Knicks Get:

C Marcin Gortat (Nice young center Knicks could build around)

G J.J. Redick (Expiring contract)

F Tony Battie (Expiring Contract)

PG Nelson/Alston/Johnson

SG CLee/Pietrus

SF Lewis/Turkoglu

PF DLee/occassional Lewis at 4

C Howard

Just trying to get your view on this IC, we need to get a proven big man right next to Howard, so we can knock Lewis to the 3, and Turkoglu to the 6th man role, with starters minutes. That will be the perfect recipe to stay in front of Boston, and Cleveland and get back to the Finals again next year...

You really think you guys are going to keep Alston?
