COMMISH CUTS HIS PAY Posted by Mike Florio on February 13, 2009, 6:14 p.m. In a move that is hardly symbolic given the dollars involved, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has cut his 2008 pay by up to 25 percent, and he

Jbro22
One of my professors does a lot with the NFL around superbowl week. She owns her own PR/Ad firm. Anyways she claims she was talking to Goodell the week before the game and he told her there was a large amount of people working for the NFL for free. Most of the younger people. So if she wasn't full of ****, good for Goodell to realize it and take the cut himself.

DMaynard
Good for Roger. I am sure the honorable Bud Selig will do the same thing. After he is done throwing everyone else under the bus for steroids.
PFSIKH
Good for Roger. I am sure the honorable Bud Selig will do the same thing. After he is done throwing everyone else under the bus for steroids. I got VCash that says that never happens. Hey Bud, when you make 4 million less then the Marlins' roster, you might want to keep your salary private.

124
Huge sacrifice...C'mon, 6 Mill after laying off numerous employees F-him I'd say 25% of his salary is a huge sacrifice. Needless to say you don't need all the positions in each company, and in bad times like these, those positions need to go.
