jetsrule128
top 1 Easy top of the first inning for Jon Niese. Got Anderson Hernandez on a bouncer to short, retired Brady Clark on a liner to CF and then whiffed Marlon Anderson looking.

jetsrule128
Duaner Sanchez appeared to have a little trouble with the strike zone in the second inning. He let out a few groans of frustration after missing with some, but threw some decent changeups. Ramon Castro and Brian Schneider each had cheap singles, but Sanchez got out of a bases-loaded jam. The highlight was Sanchez making Fernando Martinez look foolish striking him out on a changeup.
jetsrule128
The rout is on for the Alomars. Jose Reyes belted a two-run triple off the right-center wall off Joe Smith, scoring Ruben Gotay and Robinson Cancel. Cancel reached on a hit by pitch. Lil Bit Special
I believe this game has settled the question of who takes over for Randolph when the Mets are at .500 at the end of May and 8 games out..... Well, I was wrong. It will be Manuel and not Alomar replacing willie when he gets the eventual axe. And the mets were only 3.5 out at the end of May. But were 1 game above .500 At least I was close on that....
