Dwight "Overrated" Howard typifies why the NBA is so awful; you have tons of athletes and few basketball players. What skills does howard, amare stoudamire, shawn marion, etc bring to the table?

They are 6-8 or more and can run and jump, whoopedy do da.

You look at awkward, far-from-graceful players like ray allen, tayshaun prince, garnett - these guys are not just athletic - they are all excellent basketball players because THEY HAVE SKILLS.

I AM SO TIRED of teams drafting people who can run fast, jump through the roof, etc., but have no game - and Howard typifies the modern, athlete-driven NBA. Given that there are so many athletes and non players, you are not going to see is much passing and teamwork, but you will see alot of one-on-one moves which is why noone watched the NBA in the 70s as the league was sinking into irrelevence, and is again.

Howard isn't overrated, you know nothing.
