CrazyCarl40
As long as he passes his physical. 2 year contract. 1st year is guarenteed second year is not. Averages 14 million of two years. Gold glover at 3rd and his bat and swing are probably drooling for a park like Fenway. Don't love it but don't hate it either. Lowell will almost certainly be moved now. Otter
$9 million for a guy who hit 8 home runs and drove in 44 runs last year? Is he going back on steroids?
CrazyCarl40
$9 million for a guy who hit 8 home runs and drove in 44 runs last year? Is he going back on steroids? Again. Do some research. His stats away from Seattle are much better and you cannot go based on his injury plagued last season. 9 million for a gold glover who will have a good chance of resurrecting his bat in Fenway? Completely worth it. If he bombs out, they don't have to keep him after this season. The Sox now have an infield filled with 3 gold glovers and a gg calibur player. Not to mention great OF defense and an outstanding pitching staff. Runs will be tough to come by against Boston this season.
Thai Jet
He was hurt much of last season and played his home games in Seattle. Enough said. Everyone thought Mike Lowell was done too. Please don't confuse him with facts or logic Carl.

vanDoug
This guy's a bum. I see him a few times each year when I go see the Mariners play. He's cashed in big on one or two good years way back and hasn't come close to those stats since.
