80gonyjets51
Haters saying the window of opportunity is closing. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT A CHANCE IN HELL! It's wide open, Rex Ryan lifted the thing up for a long time. Alright, it's wide open for as long as we want to be the best. I believe in Rex Ryan! Ok we gotta resign all our players but Jason Taylor, Hey Jason, pack it up, get the CRAP out of New York as fast as you can! We need a better defensive pass rusher in the draft. #27TheDominator
Yep. A better pass rushing OLB in the draft. That's easy. Guys like Gholston, Crable and Brown come along every day.

Biggest FA concerns to be are Ellis Harris Holmes\Edwards

Biggest FA concerns to be are Ellis Harris Holmes\Edwards The WR's are bigger concerns than a ILB. You cant have a young QB throwing to a hodgepodge of guys next year. He needs familiarity. Harris can be replaced. He wasn't even that good this season.

I would love to keep them both but not at the expense of Harris.

Green DNA
That means you'll have to resign Smith. Nobody will be knocking down Smith's door to sign him. He is a career backup at best and better not be starting next year.

I wouldn't be excited over a Leonard and Smith tandem at safety. Smith is a decent player though..he hits hard. I'd be happy with him as a backup. CoachTsurfing
Harris is a MUST resign. With Leonard coming back next year most likely him and Smith will be the starters. Biggest FA concerns to be are Ellis Harris Holmes\Edwards bring back ellis for sure and we need to try and keep both receivers. Check out this guy a mock draft had us taking. 30. Cameron Heyward DE, Ohio St. Shaun Ellis is a solid defensive end, but the Jets need to find a guy to play opposite him and shore up their front three. Heyward is a great fit as a five-technique defensive end and is a steal at the end of the Kris Jenkins has not been able to stay healthy, so the Jets will need to strengthen their line from all angles. Heyward will be a good fit on a New York team in need of a player to take on double teams and open gaps for its linebackers. Heyward is very stout versus the run and will immediately make the defense even better. Do we really want another def. ohio state guy???

Some of the other CBs looked okay, but they need two very good CBs to do what they want. Cromartie or his replacement are ultra important.
