That said, he won't be back. I can't say I'll miss him either. His contract wasn't ridiculous. Posting fee was way too high. That's what skews this the most. I wonder if we will ever see a fee that high again? I would imagine Dice-K hurt any future posting for the next Japanese star. Especially, for a pitcher.
