slowmoe57
What No "Sigmund and the Sea Monsters". So no more Saturday Morning cartoons on the Networks. It's a shame but then again the last 10-15 years were nothing but crap anyway. Scooby Doo Archie and The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Hour were stapels of my Saturday Morning youth. Sundays were Wonderama followed by either the Bowery Boys or Abbott and Costello movies. (Winter time mainly)
Bleedin Green
Perhaps this may be a bit later than the period you're talking about, but Saturday morning cartoons still ruled in my day and this was the king of them all:

Larz
Oh, and another honorable mention: thank god for the turtles. I try to keep my son away from the cartoons that are for high college kids (regular show, adventure time) and he loves the turtles
