Why are Daniel Graham, Ty Warren and Marquis Hill on that list?

Daniel Graham was a decent player and a great blocking TE. Ty Warren played really well for the Pats and Marquis Hill was a promising young man who died in a tragic Jet Ski accident in New Orleans. I'm not saying that the Patriots have not had a lot of players that did not work out....but those three do not belong on that list. And, I still think that from the outside looking in, the biggest bust of all is Vernon Gholston. Where he was picked, what the expecations were - terrible.

I am curious though.....what is the true definition of a "bust?" I know what I think a bust is.....doesn't mean I'm right. What is a bust? What is the general consensus of what a bust is? For example, I think Reggie Bush is a bust because he has not met expectations, his production does not match his draft pick, yet he's a SB winner, he's working, making good money and is still marketable enough to continue doing national commercials.

Well, there are busts and then there are massive complete and utter failures. Like VG.

Bush and guys like Pennington are busts...but they had "success" of some sort in some point in their careers. Alone neither would ever win you a Super Bowl, but give either Drew Brees and they've got a ring ;)

Seriously though, there's just a difference between being a "bust" and being what VG, Ryan Leaf, Tim Couch, etc were...but like you said, that's just my opinion I suppose. There's no real definition of one.

DRob was drafted by Terry Bradway. Sanchez is only a bust if you're a bitter Pats fan who can't handle Sanchez pissing all over your team on your home field in the playoffs. Vernon was his only bust and anyone else drafting in that position would have taken him, even your beloved Mumbles.

Brady> Tanny

At least Brady didnt make the same mistake twice. Theres no way that a QB that leads the NFL in fumbles and barely completes 50% of his passes is worth a 6th round pick.

Is this supposed to be Sanchez you're referring to? If so then apparently you don't know what the word "barely" nor the phrase "leads the NFL" means, huh?

Yeah, productive with 2 TD's. He's a TE. And you forgot another stat that would have made him "productive" but you're a Pats fan.....I expect that dumb sh*t from them.

Hey!!! :)

Don't be too hard on him....The Pats run an offense that is heavily dependent on Rob "porn pal" Gronkowski and Aaron "make it rain" Hernandez. It's not typical at all.

He better get used to it, with Plax catching 3 a game and all...
