Tony Romo - MERGED

Brad and Aaron both won a super bowl.

Rodgers is a super bowl MVP, NFL MVP.

Johnson was a 9th round pick. He was also an NFL QB for about 14 years.

Sanchez was the 5th overall pick in the draft.

He might not even be in the NFL after next year.

You would of cut all of these qb's after their 4th season. Irrational much?

Rodgers was backing up Favre for 3 seasons. So why would anybody cut him that early?

He's only been the starter of the Packers since 2008. So technically this is his 5th year as a starter.

I'd say after 5 years as a starter, the fact he already has a Super Bowl win, a super bowl MVP, an NFL MVP, and his team is once again in the hunt for the super bowl kind of sums that up.

Sanchez has been an NFL starter for 4 years now. We see where this conversation is heading. Would he have benefited from a few seasons on the bench, in some QB school, etc? Probably. But that didnt' happen.

So at this point, Rodgers has one more year as a starting NFL QB than Sanchez. Who would you rather have?

Not sure where your comment comes from. Makes little sense.

Brad Johnson stuck around for years because of his attitude. WIll Sanchez want to be a backup? Some players never do. Donovan Mcnabb would probably still be in the NFL, and probably ended the season as a starter, if he could have accepted a backup role. Thats why Brad Johnson stuck around for years, wound up starting, wound up winning a super bowl. We will see what Sanchez does.
