CrazyCarl40
Oh, Holmes is a definite cut. Wouldn't mind bringing Walls back. Didn't name every fringe player. Our best CB last season is not a fringe player.

Bugg
Tom Brady gets the Theissmann extra joint in his femur in the preseason. Bellicheat gets caught in a kiddie porn sting. Jets' QB (Insert name of real unknown NFL QB here who will not be named "Geno Smith")goes for 34 TDs, 4500 yards and only 6 INTS.
Obrien2Toon
Highly doubt Purifoy drops to the 3rd round. He supposedly falling, but I agree.

joewillie78
Last year was unusual. I think the only QB that went higher than initially expected was Manuel. Usually, there's a run on the position before the fourth round. Seriously, Last years class will go down as one of the worst in history. Manuel, Smith and Glennon are really just 3 glorified backups. Maybe their was a QB in some of the later rounds that will emerge, but those 3 are just plain awful, making that class one of the all-time worst. Be_a_Jet
Think we should keep Goodson and Colon. Although both obvious come with their headaches (personally i think Colon is more annoying than Goodson) but nonetheless they serve their purpose and I dont think we should let them go. artemusclyde
After the PINSTRIPE BOWL, I was 100% convinced that Geno was going to be a bust, and he has done nothing to dissuade me from that opinion. In fact he has even cemented it more for me that he is a Sanchez clone. For this reason, I can only hope that they bring in a REAL veteran (and not a Garrard or Brunell) like Mike Vick, and draft one of the QB's from this class. My preference is: 1. Manziel 2. Bridgewater 3. McCarron 4. Garrapolo 5. Murray 6. Matthews I have no Bortles (not convinced), and I have no Carr, and especially no BOYD, as he is definitely a Geno clone. I had to throw in my Cornell hero, Jef Matthews, as it would be pretty cool if he wernt from Cornell to the Jets. Didn't watch his final two games where he actually faced a pass rush I take it? Geno is retarded, Manuel is injury prone, and Glennon sucked to. Really awful class.

joewillie78
Didn't watch his final two games where he actually faced a pass rush I take it? I keep going back and forth on McCarron. they say that Manziel is the biggest question mark, boom or bust QB in this draft (which I wholeheartedly disagree with)but to me its McCarron. On the one hand, I end up comparing him to McElroy, and then I watch some of his tapes against really good teams, and he makes some real quality throws. I just saw a mock that has McCarron going #20 to I forget who it was but I was shocked. He is 2nd round at best and possibly high 3rd. I would take a chance on him starting late 2nd early 3rd but no higher.

Also, Barkley, was part of this class going to Chip Kelley at Philly, but they have Foles, so Barkley is exactly where the rest of these guys should be, at backup holding the clipboard. MexiRoll6
J. Matthews as in Jake Mathews? In round 2 ? Not gonna happen. Would love TJ Ward signing though.. He is talking Jordan Matthews, the WR from Vanderbilt. Jake will be gone in top 10.

It will be up to the NJ courts if Goodson is even available. Last I heard he was indicted on gun charges which carry stiff penalties if convicted. I agree with Colon however. Even though he had a lot of penalties he was effective in run blocking. Jets ran to the right side quite often.
FloridaJetsFan
David Fales is pretty nifty. Could be had in the 4th round. Perfect WCO quarterback if you ask me. Thank you! Been saying Fales for months now, although I wouldn't bitch if we ended up with Bortles. And for the OP - why dump Goodson? He won't cost much to see if he can bust out and stay healthy. Sounds like someone the Jets would draft.
