Joe Namath on ESPN Gameday

Joe was the one who said Sanchez wasn't bad as a QB, now the guy appears to be taking over in Philly and doing fine.

As far as Suzy Kolber, I feel strongly that reference is good measure of the mental degeneration of America in general.  Namath was the first QB to pass for over 4,000 yards, (in a 14 game season), his signing and popularity forced the merger of the AFL and NFL, (the NFL was trying to kill the AFL), and his team's victory essentially legitimized the merger, which up to then was viewed as the NFL adding a weak, inferior conference.  His super quick delivery, never equalled, (Marino had a half-assed version of Namath's delivery), ushered in the modern passing game.  And what do brain dead Jets fans think when you say "Joe Namath".  "Duh, Suzy Kolber, heh heh heh".  That's what.  Oh, the shallowness of the modern fan.

He also said REX is elevating these players ego, has no discipline etc..

Joe has turned out to be right.

Younger fans have no concept.  We havent had a playoff here in years.  CMart disappeared in the playoffs as did so many.

Homers mistake criticism for hating. Real fans get mad as Hell at the incompetence of this organization. Namath is a real fan after all these years.

When he predicted jets beat steelers in afc championship, no body here was telling him to stfu and go away. Delusional homers

Plus there was never a bigger sports "rock star" than Joe Willie.
