NEED TO MOVE Something is going to move. It isn't going to be the team. The Jets need to move because of the media, not. The Jets need a franchise QB. Then a lot of other things will make sense. In the 1.3 billion dollar stadium they just built. I mean we can argue about moving. But it just isn't going to happen. Woody move your team and lose 300 million (probably more) overnight. This is silly.

I still say that if we drafted Flacco or even Luck, they would be a shell of themselves under REX and or Bowles.

We the fans are more patient than Woody believes Give Woody an ambassadorship to Madagascar, put the team in the hands of a real football man with no emotional agenda. The Idzik era was exactly what you're recommending. Yet Billboards, planes, media etc all screaming for him to be fired and year and a half into it. The rebuild is a great idea but...There is No, zero patience with this fan base. What we need is an owner willing to take the heat and not listen to fans and the media and make the proper long term football decisions and not sure term PR decisions. Until football becomes more important that PR this team will continue to be awful. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app

NEED TO MOVE What they have to do is have patience . They have to give the GM at least five years. ( than and only than can you make honest assessment of that GM) . The GM should be allowed to find his own coach( everyone needs to be on the same page , and he should be able to go down with his own guy) and be able to Implement his longterm philosophy for the team. So many Raider fans wanted Reggie Mcgenize gone after two years( his drafts, free agency decisions, and the Qb failures- Trading away Carson Palmer , trades for Matt Flynn and Matt Schaub were worthy of getting canned. Mark Davis ignored the fans + media pressure to fire Mckenize and stuck with his longterm vision. While Mckenize free agent decision weren't good early, he always gave the team an out where they could easily cut that player and not take any cap hit.( institute pay as you go philosophy). So as Mckenize who modernized the Raiders scouting department started to produce better + better drafts while doing very well in the undrafted Fa department. Having success with those undrafted Fa, made it easier to sign future undrafted Fa. Players want to go where they have honest chance to win a roster spot. ( you perform better than a draft choice, you will get that job.

The topic is so annoying. If you can explain in this thread how an owner would sell to avoid the media and diminish the team value by hundreds of millions then we will consider opening this again.
