If the Jets win 6 or 7 games, it probably means Hackenberg had a pretty good year, and they feel confident that we have our QB.

Hack is not playing next season until both McClown and Putty are both injured

How about he be a leader, show up in a little better shape and work on his speed.

Talk is cheap.

First of all, this guy couldn't fire up a kindergarten class.  He's a good player, but he takes half of the plays off and seems to feast on bad and mediocre teams.  Big mistake paying this guy.

Our D is shaping up to be decent if Mo Wilk stays healthy he could be onto something they will keep the games close and the O will need to score enough points to win games.

I still have some questions about the LB crew though.

Harris is so slow and can't cover anyone. Lee is too small to play in the 3-4 and gets picked on in coverage because he's 5'10.  Wilkerson has decided to take the rest of his career off after getting paid. Richardson is one incident away from being banned and we have 0.0 pass rush.  Oh and we are destined to be a bottom 3 offense that can never stay on the field again.

Other than that the defense looks really good

No way dude we have a lot of decent guys on the D this year if Rodgers learns how to coach and scheme we could be decent

Quinton Coples, who is considered a bust, had 6.5 sacks as a rookie.  No one on our D will even sniff that

But it's still the Jets, so that would probably ultimately lead to time wasted on a guy who actually turns out to suck, despite an initial glimmer of hope (e.g., Geno, Sanchez, every other Jets QB they've spent more than a year on since Namath).
