faba
The announcement for new class of Hall of Famers is due today- Carson is on the shortened list- just wondering what people here think I think he was helped by the great linebackers that played with him so I say no! Matt39
Him and Klecko should be in. I don't see it happening though.

shawn306
Carson no doubt should be in. Yes he played in the shadow of LT but he was the brains behind that great Giants defense. There are at least 3 guys who I always thought should be in but will have not gotten the call. 1) Carson: See above 2) Randy Gradishar Denver: A GREAT Inside Linebacker during the 70's. Jack Lambert got all the pub and deservedly so but Gradishar was just as good as Lambert. His only trip to the Super Bowl though ended in a 27-10 loss to the Cowboys in Super Bowl 12. 3) Ken Riley Bengals: An extremely underrated corner who if it wasn't for Mel Blount would have been a multiple time pro bowler. 65 career interceptions put him 5th all time behind Paul Krause, Emlen Tunnell, Rod Woodson and **** "Night Train Lane. R44
Don't remember Carson that well, but at first glance I surprised.....maybe a closer look at his stats and awards would change my mind, though.
Maxman
Carson is not a Hall Of Famer. Shouldn't even be on the ballot. This one isn't even close.
