Vader
Last great hope QB I remember respecting was Pennington. Favre is irrelevant due to the injury. Geno, no. Sanchize, barf. Clemens, Ratcliff, Simms, gag. What about Pennington, Fitzpatrick, O’Brien or Namath? Would any of these QBs have made a difference? Obviously they have different styles and I think the Pennington / Fitzpatrick dink and dunk model would work.
pdxgreen
Outside of Namath I think there is a BIT of a drop off.
jgb
All would perform better than the worst starting QB in football, yes.
peekskill68
Lemme think.... Yeah, Namath was better
Vader
The reason I question Namath is his immobility and this OL... it’s a style question too
Rolloffjet
I said O’Brien because he had a bad ol too and still put up good #s
