I'mma be honest. Cooking oil isn't going to make or break anyone's health.

What you're cooking in that oil is more important than the oil.

Eat vegetables, lean protein and stay away from sugars and alcohol and you'll increase your health exponentially.

Yeah, I dont really agree.

Seed oil is very inflammatory.  I also disagree with a low fat diet.   Higher fat, well sourced food.

Agree on sugar and alcohol.  But I like alcohol so I still have a few drinks a week.

Solid points, but oils make a difference on nutritional value because it can alter toxicity levels and molecular integrity.

"A recently published systematic review of 15 clinical trials failed to find any support for the “diet LA causes inflammation hypothesis.”

Be careful of buzzwords like inflammation it's usually marketing to sell books and plans.

Nightshades are inflammatory to some. For me, processed sugar? Might as well smash a pipe across my knees/

Technically its not. Lard is from pig fat. Ghee is just clarified butter from cows milk.  Its basically butter without the lactose and casein.

Thanks for the clarification. I was translating from Spanish ghee-manteca which I thought it was within the lard spectrum.
