Dolphins | Lions asking price too much for Harrington?

Tue, 4 Apr 2006 21:35:59 -0700

Greg A. Bedard, of the Palm Beach Post, reports the Miami Dolphins have agreed to the framework of a two-year contract with Detroit Lions QB Joey Harrington, but are having trouble meeting the Lions' asking price in a trade. According to a source, the Lions want the Dolphins' third- or fourth-round pick in the April 29 NFL Draft. The Dolphins have resisted because they have previously traded away their second-, fifth- and sixth- round picks.

Hey, they don't need any draft picks...according to the so called experts the dolfags are a lock...it's the same joke year after year and their fair weather fans fall for this crap year after year...it's got to be tough when your team wears Howard Johnson colors.

and the thing that gets me JFF is that none of the so-call experts are taking into account that their once vaunted defense is another year older and the obvious question marks about Culpepper and if he CAN'T start the season who will the QB be?I don't see them any better than they were a year ago-which was a .500 team-if you don't count that little gift from the Pats to bring them to 9-7

Yep, we also have 3 seventh round picks as well. While we do need more draft picks, don't forget that a 2nd round pick was sent to the Vikings for Culpepper and a 5th round pick was used on DT Manuel Wright ... a player of 3rd round talent who skipped his senior year. We gave our 6th round pick to the Chargers to take Feeley off of our hands .... something you may have to do as well;)

Is Feeley on the Jets?

Dolphins got Daunte Culpeper, we got Patrick Ramsey. Dolphins have a running back of the future (Ronnie Brown), we don't. Dolphins have a gamebreaking receiver (Chambers), we don't. What the ****?

Dolphins had Dan Marino for upteen years breaking all kinds of personal records...what's your point?
