Parada, but I had the same question!

He’s been DHing of late. He came out as a senior with quite the pedigree but has not been playing well in all areas. Very disappointed on his progress. Come trade deadline may want to add him as a chip… needs new scenery. Alvarez is our future

With Alvarez out indefinitely, is Paralta ready to bring up? JD will make big difference when here, but need to add a bat to make up for Alvarez.

Interesting.  IIRC they said he was close to major league ready when they drafted him.

My joy over how well they have been doing lately has now been ruined by these god awful City Connect jerseys. What the actual ****.

Alvarez has torn ligament in thumb. Out indefinitely! 🤬

The way that happened, and the severity, is just so weird. We’ve all used our hand to do that hundreds of times playing sports. This is so Mets/ Jets it’s not funny.

Best pitching prospect they've called up since the mid-2010's. Really a lot riding on him.

Plus would give the season some "juice" if we had a young pitcher on the rise.  Like the good old days where we thought Harvey/deGrom/Syndergaard/Wheeler/Matz were going to be dominant for a long time.

Ironic that the guy who was hurt the entire great season of 2015. Wheeler, has arguably had the longest, best career of them all.
