Is Travis Kelce cooked?

Recommended Posts

Through three games he's got 69 yards on 8 catches and zero touchdowns.

Nothing close to what we've come to expect and it's not as if KC has four or five stud WR's to go to over him.

I hope he is.... better than watching the camera pan to Swift on every 5 yard ******* catch

Is the 35 year old skill position player not as good as he used to be? Probably

Cooked does not mean "not as good as he used to be", it means is he no longer any good.

There's a difference.

It's clear he isn't the player he used to be, as should be expected with his age and wear and tear. But let's not forget he played a very pedestrian type regular season last season for 3/4 of the season. Only had a few games he was the guy we used to know.

BUT.........

Go look at his playoff stats last season.

4 games: 32rec. 355yds 3TDs

So it seems Reid might be trying to "save" him for bigger type moments. They're rather locks every year to make the playoffs with the refs helping them out ;) and the talent they have. So I think he can be the player we know, just not for a whole season anymore. So KC saves him for meaningful football in January

Notoriously fast drop offs happen all the time. He was also declining last year. It’s also week 4. So my answer remains that the 35 year old skill position player is probably cooked.
